Yesterday at WWDC, Apple announced and previewed iOS 9 officially for the first time. One of the most prominent changes in the security department is the introduction of six-digit passcodes in iOS 9, Apple got rid of four-digit passcodes in iOS 9. In previous versions of iOS users were required to create four-digit passcodes.

The introduction of six-digits passcodes makes it even hard for strangers to guess your passcode and unlock your device.Still, there is an option to use the four-digit passcode. The passcode can now consist of both letters and digits, maker it even harder for strangers to guess your passcode. Definitely, a big step taken by Apple in-terms of security iOS devices.

Decorations every where in Moscone center for WWDC, No hints yet

Decorations for the Monday’s keynote event have been started, the decoration process was initiated on Tuesday, and will continue to work for the whole weekend to make arrangements for the event. These decorations are made every year for Worldwide Developers Conference, the preparations include putting up logos, signs, and banners all across Moscone West in San Francisco, where the event is about to held.

Apple had placed two Apple logos on the outside windows of Moscone West this afternoon, and the first banner which is to be placed inside was brought to completion. The very first banner was decorated with the same elements of graphic design that is shown by Apple on it's website, But the banner additionally shows the tagline of “The epicenter of change”.

We can guess about the decoration of next interior banners which are about to be placed might be according to OS X 10.11 or iOS 9, the two new operating systems that will be came out at WWDC. It is expected that perhaps their style of decoration on banners will be shown up in accordance with these new devices. This is done with the inclusion of trademarked names of Apple which are of many california landmarks and locations from which some are redwood, big sur, pacific pablo, miramar, etcap, monterey and sierra, among others.

The banners of iOS 9 are also expected to appear later in the near future, but these banners will not be giving much information to us. It is because of lack of associated name and the features which have been hidden or covered will be uncovered after the keynote event Apple will keep signs that highlight upcoming features that are about to reveal, sign post will also be additionally decorated including the metreon across the street and many other places as we reach the kickoff of the conference.

With the details of iOS 9 and OS X 10.11, the keynote event of this year will occur with the inclusion of the launch of Apple's new music streaming service and a whole new version of iTunes radio. The Apple Watch will be focused with the debut of native apps. It is also expected that Apple might introduce a reward program for Apple pay.

Proactive could appear in iOS 9 with augmented reality maps

There could be a notable progress in the features of iOS 9 regarding Apple’s siri and search features may specifically be expanded, This has provided the potential to Apple to appear as a rival for Google’s feature riched voice-based search component Google now, According to the information provided in the report. Apple will be engaged in the working on a iOS initiative called ‘’Proactive’’ in which it has unified and integrated features like Siri, maps, contacts, calendar, passbook and other third party apps into spotlight search to make it better.

Proactive will show its result according to its functioning as a search feature that is build into iOS, it may be approached either from the top of screen home screen as spotlight or from left of the home screen. Due to benefits obtained from Apple and developments in spotsetter and cue, proactive has been given the place of life style managing tool.

According to most of the information, proactive might consist on a dedicated search bar which is very much like the spotlight. It is designed in a way to become familiar to iOS users it also has the ability to give us more options for e-mail, content, apps, music, and also providing easily reachable information for the assistance to iOS users so that they will be able to navigate through their everyday routine activities.

"For example, if a user has a flight listed in her Calendar application and a boarding pass stored in Passbook, a bubble within the new Proactive screen will appear around flight time to provide quick access to the boarding pass. If a user has a calendar appointment coming up, a map view could appear with an estimated arrival time, directions, and a time to leave indicator based on traffic. Proactive will also be able to trigger push notifications to help the user avoid missing calendar events. Even with these new notifications, however, the existing Notification Center apparently isn't likely to see major changes."

Proactive has the capability to combine with other third party apps to form a whole and according to the using habits of the user, it will gradually learn which app to show on the  screen. The aim is to provide a quick access. If a person checks his e-mail daily after waking up, then the e-mail app will already displayed when he wakes up. The phone app pop up will be presented by the person who makes a phone call daily at a fixed time. It will appear with different restaurant suggestions and ratings which are nearby at the time of dinner.

Another significant feature of proactive is the display of Map, it assist people in their daily life to navigate and fast reach to routes and information about the place will also be provided, maps are gaining transit routing features in IOS 9 and it may be improved and a new appearance will be given to it, In addition is a view for local listings and also a feature named ''Browse Around Me''

It has not been confirmed about this new improved and increased reality feature if it is ready for iOS 9, it will provide information about a certain location, the user just have to hold his iPhone and point it at a location on the street. If you point it to a restaurant it will show the menu of the restaurant, if you will point it to a street it will give outline about each store  and information about the businesses located there. At the same time, ''Browse Around Me'', is a much simpler feature that may show the surrounding local points of intrigue and interest on the map.

Apple's recently coming proactive feature will unify with other third-party apps, and also in iOS 9, developed might be able to reach a limited Siri API named ''Breadcrumb''. This simple feature will be able to allow the proactive and Siri access will not be allowed because of privacy matters.

Today's report has given a warning the mentioned features may not reach into IOS 9, these may be introduced as the scaled-down enhancement that will appear with improvement.
