Now Hackers can get in iOS 9.1 by Remote browser-based Jailbreaking


In late September, Zerodium a exploit acquisition platform announced an iOS 9 bug bounty that would pay out up to three million dollars to hacker who will manage to develop a browser-based untethered jailbreaking of Apple's most advanced mobile operating system iOS 9. So then they could sell the exploit to clients who will be interest in getting Ghost access to iOS devices.

At the end of October contest expired,  Zerodium today announced one hacking team had successfully managed to develop a browser-based untethered remote jailbreak for Latest iOS 9 version iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 which is still in Beta version and the hacking team won the $1 Million Prize bounty.


Zerodium told Wired that the exploit developed by the hackers will be given to their customers including major technology, finance and defence corporations and the exploit will also be sold to government. Hacking team have to remotely jailbreak iOS 9 without having User's attraction or interaction but reading a text message or visiting a website through any browser.

Zerodium wants to earn more money by selling the exploit to the other corporation, but they have no plans to inform Apple about the vulnerabilities of their latest OS, but they said they will share details later. Zerodium says we will not public the jailbreak, but iOS security is hard but not unbreakable.
