According to the recent research done by Wristly, from exercising, walking and getting into sports more often than ever, most of the adopters of the wearable are taking full benefit of the device's health and fitness features.
Out of about 1000 Apple Watch buyers that participated in the survey done by Whistly more than 75% said that "Strongly Agree" or "Agree" that they have been standing more than ever after wearing the Apple Watch. Furthermore, about 67% of participants acknowledged that they walk more often, 59% participants admitted they make health choices better and 57% participants said they exercise more frequently with the Apple Watch.
The early adopters of the Apple Watch are actually more satisfied with the built-in health and fitness features of the device. An aggregate 89% of participants were either "Very Satisfied" or somewhat "Satisfied" with the built-in features of the device, while around 80% were satisfied with the heart rate sensor and the hourly stand-up reminders and just about 75% were pretty much satisfied with the Workout app.
In the Apple Watch review of Jim Dalrymple of The Loop, Jim expressed similar thoughts about the device. Moreover, he added his own personal experience of about losing 40 pounds while using the Healthkit and Apple Watch. He lost four pants sizes and two shirt sizes while exercising for ten months with the wearable. He also said that the Apple Watch kept him motivated to become fit and reach his target:
"Apple Watch furthered my transformation. I can see on my wrist every minute of the day where I’m at for standing, movement, activity, calories and much more.
One minute please, Apple Watch says I need to stand up.
If Apple Watch says stand, I stand. I still don’t know why. Maybe I just want to complete those rings every day and feel good about that. Maybe standing every hour really is good for me. I don’t know, but I’ll indulge this little device on my wrist and stand."
According to Wristly, the early adopters of the time piece are still wearing it regularly and are loving it a lot. About 86% of survey participants said they continue wearing the Apple Watch daily, while about 12.3% wear it on most days of the week, about 1.3% participants go few days without wearing the Apple Watch and three people said that they now don't wear the Apple Watch.
The Apple Watch is surely not the only wearable device which is motivating people to get in good shape, the Exercise and Stand rings, the Move, achievement badges, workout summaries, progress updates etc and the other health and fitness features of the Apple Watch seems to be challenging the early adopters in so many ways they never thought.
Wristly is the largest Apple Watch research firm, lately the firm reported that Apple Watch has 97% customer satisfaction rate.
