Foxconn to manufacturing iPhone in India

Rueter reported Foxconn is in talks with Indian government to open its first iPhone manufacturing plant in India. An Industrial told the publication that “Foxconn is sending a delegation of their officers to scout for locations in a month’s time.”

Foxconn is also planning to start 10-11 type of manufacturing plants in India, including the data centers by 2020. Its a profit deal for Foxconn if they start Manufacturing iPhone in India as the cost for iPhone is increasing day by day due to wage inflation, But in India it will cost very much low and Indians are also ignoring iPhone for purchase as they want Apple to manufacture iPhone in India if they wanted to sell it in India. So it will benefit from all sorts.

But Foxconn is very much known for underage employment and forced to work overtime but it will be interesting to see it new policies in new country.
