Apple started working with researchers to build ResearchKit that will collect DNA data
Apple is working with many U.S researchers to build a ResearchKit App that will allow iPhone users to test their DNA, report brought from MIT's Technologies review. The apps are based upon ResearchKit, the platform introduced by Apple in march which helped developer to gather data.
If this is really happening then Apple gonna join genetic information battle. Everyone in this world like government, Top universities and even Google is spending millions of dollar to collect information and use that information to discover cures for many genetical problems.
MIT say two studies have shown that Apple's is not going to directly gather that information or test those DNA itself, But it gonna give this to its Academic partners and at the end the information is going to be shared with many recipients as researcher.
From Apple has launched iOS 7 in 2013 it has seriously started taking interest in Heath with a health app. From that time Apple has built on that foundation with ResearchKit, which has shown making a significant impact on medical research, and the launch of its activity and fitness-tracking Apple Watch.
The report shows Apple wants its DNA apps ready in time to show off at WWDC next month.
