TSMC's A9 Chip performed way better than the Samsung's Chip in battery Benchmarks

After the launch of new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus few weeks ago, People discovered variation in their iPhone and discovered that their iPhones are powered by two different Chips, one from TSMC which is a bit larger "16nm" and the other from Samsung which is a bit smaller "14nm". With this people started experimenting with their iPhones to find an iPhone with better A9 Chip. In start data showed 60 and 40 percent split of Chips in iPhone from TSMC and Samsung, respectively.

Benchmarks showed there is not a noticeable difference in the performance of these two different A9 chips but today some Battery testing  benchmarks suggested that iPhone Units with TSMC's chip have significantly better battery life.

Following the news, Youtube start recieving videos with battery tests between TSMC's and Samsung's Chip.

A video from Austin Evans compared Same two iPhone 6s, one having Samsung's chip and one with TSMC's Chip, Set both iPhone on same settings and performed a Geekbench 3 test on 50 percent of battery remaining, he discovered that iPhone with TSMC's chip lasted 50 minutes more than the iPhone containing Samsung's chip and the iPhone with Samsung's chip remain hotter while the test.

The Youtuber though test both iPhone in routine usage like watching Youtube videos and stuff like that and at the end between battery life there was only difference of 1 percent. But while heavy usage he noticed TSMC comes out on the top.

Another Youtuber performed some tests by same settings and ran a 30 minute time-lapse, After the result, the iPhone 6s with Samsung was down to 84 percent while iPhone with TSMC's Chip was at 89 percent. While recording 10 minutes of 4K and importing it to iMovie, At the end iPhone with Samsung's chip was at 55 percent while the iPhone containing TSMC's chip was at 62 percent.

At the conclusion, there is a difference between both iPhones having different chips, but in real life result are not that noticeable but there is a difference of nearly 22 percent in battery life between devices running Samsung's and TSMC's chip.

Update: Apple claims the difference between Samsung's chip and TSMC's chip in battery comparison is only 2-3 percent in real life. The test done continuously to check the difference are unrealistic.
