Faulty Taptic Engine causing the Apple Watch shortage
New report from the WSJ tells the reason behind the limited stock of Apple Watch. The referred source say Apple has done mass production of engines in February but when the time came test them many of them become unusable
AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. and Nidec Corp who supplied for the Taptic Engine the component which give Apple Watch the amazing physical tapping on wrist feature. But some of the engine supplied ACC was considered faulty and then Apple shift the majority production to the Nidec Corp.
But its still not confirmed how much shortage is actually just because of Taptic Engine shortage, but Apple told some Watch suppliers last week to slow down production until June, without explaining the reason. If the report is true then the question arises how much is it going to be late.
Apple has faced many difficult challenges to handle its supply of Apple watch as the company is known for heavy supply chain and its Quick product reaching service, but this time Apple has just shipped some pre-orders and its gonna be June for supply to become well and the retailer stores to get business.
