Apple's CEO Tim Cook donated 50,000 Shares of AAPL worth $6.5 million to charity

Tim Cook Apple's CEO has contributed in charity by donating 50,000 of his shares in the company to a charity which is not known to public, as stated by the files from SEC on Friday. The donation is a amount of about  $6.54 million, as of this writing.

If we observe the company from the time of Steve jobs, the co-founder of this company in 2011, Cook has revealed to be an outstanding, unusual and remarkable person who takes part in charity and also in political affairs, he is no less than his predecessor. He has donated amounts in the support of gay rights in his home in the state of Alabama, which was also not brought to public, he has promised and fully assured them that he will contribute as far as he can go according to his wealth. Also he has helped his nephew by paying the expenditure of his college education.

This is the most recent news on public, and the moves and gestures that lies outside Apple business. This would greatly exasperate his old boss, because the former CEO of the company was not very much interested or attentive towards donations and charity, he also did not talked much about the current political affairs like gay rights or of any other matters related with society and environment. Cook is now being regarded as a charitable, big-hearted and an outstanding person.

Bill Gates who is the former Microsoft head, managed a foundation called Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation during his time and managed an amount of $42 billion endowment and funds projects with different purposes such as clean water for developing countries, agricultural improvement, and in financial matters. Gates and investor Warren Buffett has also initiated The Giving Pledge, which inspire and motivate other billionaires to contribute in donation of most of their wealth for charity purposes and with the inclusion of structures like media magnate  Ted Turner, Mark Zuckerberg head of  Facbook and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

Cook has appeared to be much benevolent and generous person who cares for humanity, unlike Steve Jobs but very much like Bill Gate.
