Metaio a Augmented reality startup acquired by Apple


Recently  Apple has acquired a valuable reality startup Metaio. The report was provided by Techcrunch. The information was received from the company’s website and it says that Metaio is actually a “pioneer in augmented reality and computer version”,  it is a type of an augmented reality authoring tool. And within some  ‘minutes’ users will be able to create augmented reality scenarios says the Creator.

For the time being, Metaio has ceased to take new customers, and from the information received by the shareholder file which is involved about the transferring, it has been confirmed that it is purchased by Apple. Apple told TechCrunch about the acquisition, "Apple buys smaller technology companies from time to time, and we generally do not discuss our purpose or plans." 

Metaio newly developed reality tools have been used by many companies o make attractive sceneries  For an example, an augmented reality showroom based with Metaio was prepared for Ferrari, it has been saved with a historical footage and is being used in Berlin to allow the tourist to view the historical views and Berlin wall was still in place.



It is still uncelear that how Apple intends and manages to use this Metaio technology, there have been continuous and unrelenting rumored information about Apple suggesting that Apple has an interest towards virtual reality and augmented reality. It consist on patents, Apple has analyzed a video headset, a motion-sensing 3D virtual interface for iOS devices, and 3D hyper-reality displays.

It might be achieved that Apple could use Metiao creation tools to bring in and start new remarkable and unusual features to maps and other apps. A 2014 rumor hints that Apple was regarding adding augmented reality features to map and a more recent and presently produced rumor directs towards Apple making effort on a “Browse Around Me” app for iOS 9 which will also consist augmented reality display. Present rumors also indicate that Apple has made a special small team to work on augmented reality projects in Cupertino headquarters, but there still remains an unclear that when the new incorporated features of AR and VR will appear in Apple’s products.
