Agreement settled between Apple and top battery engineers for Apple's car


Electric cars battery maker A123 and Apple has nearly reached on a agreement, we learned when A123 filed a federal Lawsuit accusing Apple for bringing A123's top engineers and scientist to build its own batteries.

A123 filed to court this week revealed teh Company asked a federal judge to grant it more to time to reach to a final decision for settlement , thats what two side are having “reached an agreement, signed a term sheet, and are in the process of drafting a final settlement agreement.”

The lawsuit was filled earlier this week by A123, throwing fuel in fire of the rumor Apple making self-driving car to compete Tesla. According to the documents submitted in court, A123 accused its employ, Mujeeb Ijaz of violating an agreement to not poach A123’s engineers after he joined Apple.

At least four top of A123’s top high-tech PhD and engineering employees were hired by Apple and Mujeeb Ijaz, which forced A123 to end some projects because they was lack of brain to run them. According to the Court documents Apple has denied any wrongdoing in the lawsuit and dismissed A123’s claims as “premised on baseless conjecture.”

The lawsuit give another drawback to A123 events, which enjoyed a huge IPO in 2009 $371 million which was showed in 2001.The car-battery maker has filed for bankruptcy in 2012 after a series of production missteps and a decrease in the marked of electric car. The Boston-based company is now Acquired by China’s Wanxiang Group, which also bought the bankrupt electric-car maker Fisker Automotive last year.
