Apple releases iOS 9.2 beta 4 for developers and public beta testers with Arabic Siri support and more

After a week, today Apple releases iOS 9.2 beta 4 after iOS 9.2 beta 3 to developers and public beta testers with many bug fixes and minor updates. Release notes don't tell a lot about the update except fixes has been added to the dictionary, keyboard, networking and more.

Previous iOS 9.2 betas added NumberSync Wifi calling with AT&T, iCloud Keychain Bug fixes, Apple Watch Syncing bug fixes and bug fixes for Audio and Video issues. The most important update in the beta is Safari View Controller. Safari View Controller allows pop-up safari windows to be used in third-party apps. But with iOS 9.2 Safari View Controller supports third-party action extension, which now allows apps like 1Passwords to be accessed in Safari.


Safari View Controller now allows to reload content without content blocker by long pressing the reload button and also supports the request desktop site function. The iOS 9.2  Safari View Controller also allow users to close it with an edge swipe. iOS 9.2 also supports Arabic support for Siri.

Developers can download the new Beta 4 update from Apple Developer Center. Public Beta testers can download the update over the air
