Elon Musk: Apple hired people we have fired

German newspaper Handelsblatt interviewed Tesla's CEO Elon Musk, Elon Musk exposed his thoughts on the rumored Apple Car, During the interview Musk was asked to express his thoughts on Apple hiring some important engineers from Tesla.

He said that people Apple hired were not important to Tesla all though they were fired by Tesla and stated "We always jokingly call Apple the Tesla Graveyard" and he said "If you don’t make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple. I'm not kidding "

The interviewer asked Musk whether they consider Apple car a competitor, then he joked " did you ever take a look at the Apple Watch?" by teasing Apple. Then he continued teasing and said " No, seriously it's good that Apple is moving and investing in this direction. But cars are very complex compared to phones or smartwatches "

Elon Musk made fun of new Apple Pencil and iPad pro by saying innovation in the form of pencil or bigger iPad are not relevent. And he poked Apple saying cars are way more complex and said "you just can't go to supplier like Foxconn and say: Build me a car".

Apple hired Jamie Carlson, a senior engineer from Tesla and joined Apple's Project Titan back in August. According to Bloomberg, Tesla has hired too many ex-Apple employees around 150. Apple just hire some employees.

Tesla's CEO made fun of Apple all though Apple is capable of acquiring Tesla.
